Youth Service International

For many years, students from Layton have enjoyed activities organized by Youth Service International (YSI), whose Christian orientation is entrusted to Opus Dei

The following are currently taking applications for the summer

Leadership Camp Camper (for entering 6th to 8th grade)
An action-packed one-week overnight summer camp
From June 8 to June 14 at Lafayette, IN
Leadership Camp Counselor (for entering 10th grade to college-aged)
An assignment to a team of campers for which one serves as mentor and coach
From June 4 to June 14 at Lafayette, IN
Mexico Service Project (for entering 11th and 12th grade)
An opportunity to live solidarity by serving the poor and less fortunate
From June 21 to July 6 at Monterrey, Mexico

Sauganash Study Center

A center of Opus Dei at Chicago – organizes summer activities and invites students from Layton (as well as other centers) to apply

High School & Beyond (for entering 9th grade)
Helps freshmen take advantage of their high school years to become leaders
 
From June 29 – July 5 at South Bend, IN (Application Deadline: February 28)
Leadership for America (for entering 10th grade)
Spurs young men on in their development of key leadership virtues and skills
 
From June 21 – June 27 at Washington, DC (Application Deadline: February 28)
College Application Boot Camp (for entering 12th grade)
Lay the foundation for a great senior year and get your applications done well
 
From August 6 – August 10 at South Bend, IN (Application Deadline: May 1)
