For: Junior High boys, 6th and 7th  grades

Purpose: Teaching life essentials to the future men of the world – and building friendships .

Timing: the 4th Saturday of the month from September to May 3:00pm to 5:00pm at Layton.

A Hands-On activity each month. This year will include:

  • First Aid
  • Building
  • Home Repair
  • Cooking simple meals, appetizers, desserts etc.

In addition, each session includes a talk on a virtue.

Overview: A formative afternoon combining a practical activities with virtue talk. The activities like building a wall or changing a tire, are very hands on – the boys get to fully participate. Then we have a 15 – 20 minute talk by one of the men at Layton on a range of virtues or aspects of living their faith, followed by time for confession, and a snack. Throughout, the boys have fun getting to know each other better.
